I've been using the MusOpen DVD to provide music for YouTube videos I've been making
Are you aware that SME on behalf of SONY music claims ownership of the MusOpen DVD? This is the notice I received from YouTube:
Hi WhatTheFont,
Due to a copyright claim, your YouTube video has been blocked in some countries. This means that your video is still up on YouTube, but people in some countries may not be able to watch it.
Video title: Birds Cages Intro Outro
Copyrighted song: Var. 13 a 2 Clav.
Claimed by: SME
Why this can happen
Your video might contain copyrighted content.
Copyright owners can choose to block YouTube videos that contain their content.
- The YouTube Team
I of course appealed, and just received this notice in response:
Hi WhatTheFont,
After reviewing your dispute, SME has decided that their copyright claim is still valid.
Video title: Birds Cages a to z Intro Outro
Copyrighted song: Var. 13 a 2 Clav.
Claimed by: SME
Why this can happen
The copyright owner might disagree with your dispute.
The reason you gave for disputing the claim may have been insufficient or invalid.
- The YouTube Team
Your dispute wasn't approved.
The claimant has reviewed their claim and confirmed it was valid.
You may be able to appeal this decision, but if the claimant disagrees with your appeal, you could end up with a strike on your account.
Viewing restrictions
Video blocked in 244 countries
Monetization
Monetized by claimant
In your opinion, is this accurate? Does SONY music own the copyright to the MusOpen DVD?
I'm stuck. Do you know of anyone who can help me to overcome this copyright claim by SME on behalf of SONY Music?

Each issue has the page numbers listed on the bottom corner plus the 5 or so pages to the last page. This way your numbers will match the page numbers Archive.org has for the 2000-2002 CS issues they have listed. Thanks.

Is the data below the type of information you require?
Dec 1990 812 pages
March 1991 788
April 1990 742
October 1989 728
There are more but I will see if this is what you want.
Perhaps this could be done off line. Send me an email if you would like. And if possible I could use a letter to show my wife attesting to the fact that keeping these for 30 years was actually not a waste of space.
