once a video starts playing (we'll try on tool upgrades to make it not have to start first), you can hover over the "play/pause/seek" bar at different video time points and see the closest thumbnail.

Thanks for the reply but the suggestion to "hover" works in less than 50% of the community video files. And the wait for load and then hope the thumbnails will appear is not as useful as the old format "Click here for thumbnails"
Is it a design decision to not have a quick and easy method to the thumbnails or is there some coding I do not understand?

If you need some examples of the files that do not display thumbnails when "hovering" I can give you a list.

And you have no idea how difficult it is to find the forums in this New Format. The old entrance page had them available, now they are hidden. Or was that was the goal.
