If you'd like to see how we compile our ffmpeg and/or do video deriving at archive.org, please see this code repository https://github.com/traceypooh/deriver-archive These are all static binary 64-bit unix compiles, where all of them were compiled w/ custom config options (see above) on various versions of the Ubuntu OS we use.
